Reiki Books vs. Online Reiki Course?

There have been many Reiki books written over the years. We are not in the business of selling Reiki books, but we’ve included a few here from Amazon because we liked them (the books, not Amazon!). But we like Amazon also.

We believe Reiki is best experienced with the guidance of a Reiki master, but there is certainly no harm in doing as much research as you can.If you are undecided about which Reiki books are best, we would recommend any Reiki books by Diane Stein. We are not associated with her in any way, but have been impressed with her knowledge of Reiki, and her ability to present that knowledge in a readable fashion!

She has written over 25 books in the fields of alternative health, women’s spirituality, and metaphysical healing.

And she practices what she preaches – she is an acclaimed healer.

Her book, Essential Reiki: A Complete Guide to an Ancient Healing Art, is considered by many to be the definitive introduction to Reiki.

She takes the reader through each of the three degrees or levels of Reiki in great detail. She is very open about what used to be a very secretive healing art, and some of what she included in her book was being revealed for the first time.

She herself points out that nothing, including her Reiki books, can take the place of Reiki attunements!

Benefits of Reiki

More and more people are discovering the benefits of Reiki, in many cases studying Reiki increasingly via Reiki Courses Online just to heal themselves. Once you qualify as a Reiki master you can teach others, but even those who complete Reiki I have increased healing ability.

The benefit of Online Reiki Classes are that it is much cheaper, and it is a convenient entry point.

If you are going to consider an online Reiki course, we would ask that you look closely at the experience and qualifications of those leading the course. You should always be cautious with online courses.

However, some of the great online Reiki courses have been created by excellent Reiki Masters, largely because they want to give as many people as possible exposure to their healing powers.

Remember – your Reiki energy healing attunement is only as good as the master who is attuning you, in person or remotely. So choose very carefully!
